What is microneedling?
Microneedling, or collagen induction therapy (CIT) is a minimally invasive procedure using a medical-grade electronic device to create tiny punctures in the skin which promotes the skin’s natural repair mechanisms to stimulate new collagen and elastin and increase product absorption by 3000%.

It can help with:

A series of 3-4 treatments spaced about 6-8 weeks apart is a great start! Micro-needling can be done Treatments should be 4 weeks apart at a minimum.
For clients with deep wrinkles, advanced photo-aging, stretch marks or acne scars it is recommended to receive 6-8 consecutive sessions at 6-week intervals.
Microneedling After-Care
Please wait to wash your face for at least 4 hours following your microneedling session. The longer you wait the better! Use a gentle cleanser and tepid water to cleanse and gently dry your skin. Follow up with your recommended products. If you have questions about what cleansers and facial products are appropriate for you please ask!
For up to 72 hours after do not apply makeup and try to avoid major sweating!
Avoid the sun! Immediate exposure to the sun can create more damage while your skin is exfoliated and in the recovery process.
What is Nano Needling?
Nano needling uses the same device to treat the skin but with a different cartridge head that encompasses 81 silicone tips. These microscopic hair-like cones separate the cells within the epidermis to enhances topical serum absorption by up to 97% which is great for issues like melanoma and sun spots. Nano needling only affects the epidermis, treating within the upper .15 mm of the skin. can be done in between microneedling treatments to further improve results. It is recommended for thinner skin, fine wrinkles, swelling, and toning.
How is microneedling different from a derma roller?
Derma rollers are rolled over the skin and when used incorrectly can pull the skin and cause damage. They are usually used more than once and can spread or be a breeding ground of harmful bacteria.
I do not recommend derma rollers, but if you enjoy using one please make sure to replace the cartridges frequently.
